Brush Pick-Up Reinstated Next Week Due to Storm
As a result of the snow storm that hit New Jersey on Oct. 29, bringing down tree limbs throughout Lawrence Township, the township public works department will suspend leaf collection and instead pick up limbs and brush next week, Nov. 7-11.

Please be advised that Lawrence Township leaf pick-up services will be suspended the week of Nov. 7 through Nov. 11 ONLY.
Due to this weekend’s storm damage the township will collect brush for this one week period only.Â

All zones will be collected during the week of Nov. 7 through Nov. 11. All brush must be put out according to township regulations:
- Tree trunks and limbs in excess of 8 inches diameter will not be collected.
- Limbs should be cut in lengths of 5 feet or less.
- All limbs and brush should be placed at the curb in an orderly manner.
- The pile may not be larger than 3 feet high and must not be placed more than four feet from the edge of the pavement.
- Leaves and brush shall not be comingled.

If a contractor has cut and collected brush from a residential location the contractor may take the brush directly to the Lawrence Township Compost Facility at 3701 Princeton Pike free of charge between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The contractor will be required to show evidence that the material was removed from the property of a Lawrence Township resident by way of a letter signed by the property owner including their name, address and the actual date of delivery to the compost facility.
Beginning on Nov. 14 service will resume for regularly scheduled leaf pick-up, which will run through Dec. 31.
