Campaign Finance Records Available for Review

Records filed with the state Election Law Enforcement Commission reveal that the campaign for the three Democratic candidates in the Lawrence Township Council race raised $17,033.17, while the campaign for the three Republican contenders raised $11,240.23

Anyone interested in reviewing campaign finance records for the six candidates vying in the can easily do so by clicking on the appropriate report from the media box at the right.

The 29-Day Pre-Election Reports of Contributions and Expenditures filed on behalf of the candidates are public records available from the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.

The report filed by the Election Fund of Powers, Maffei and Lewis shows that $17,033.77 was raised for – including $5,150 left over from their primary election campaign – and that $2,994.52 was spent on campaign expenses.

The report filed by Engel-Coolbaugh-Collins for Lawrence Council, meanwhile, shows that $11,240.23 was raised for , and that $5,928.74 was spent by the campaign.

A separate report filed by Collins for Council shows that an additional $420 was raised and $80.74 spent for Collin’s campaign.

The reports include the names, addresses and employers of all individuals and also organizations that made monetary and in-kind contributions or loans in excess of $300, as well as all cash contributions, to the respective campaign funds.

The three seats at stake in next week’s election are currently held by Powers, and . Earlier this year, Mount and Bostock announced they would not seek reelection. Bostock is currently the only Republican on the five-person council.
