Dress for Success to Celebrate Five Years of Helping

Dress for Success Mercer County presents "Cocktails for a Cause: Celebrating 5 Years of Success" from 6-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 at Greenacres Country Club, 2170 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence Township.

Since their founding in October 2007, Dress for Success Mercer County has helped almost 2,000 women in six counties achieve confidence and success in the workplace. Proceeds will support the programs and services they provide including: interview attire, resume writing, interview coaching, career counseling, power networking, job retention and career advancement skills. 

At the event, Dress for Success Mercer County will honor some of their supporters for their dedication including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, who has hosted their annual Power Walk and supplied a team of volunteers to help with various projects. Special recognition goes to Carmen Livingston, a client and Professional Women’s Group member who will share her story.

The special event will feature hors d’oeuvres, open bar, entertainment and a fun silent auction with exciting prizes for guests to win. More information about the silent auction will be posted on www.Facebook.com/DressForSuccessMercer at a later date.

Tickets cost $125 per person and $500 for a party of five tickets. Sponsorship packages range from $555 to $10,555. Last year’s event drew more than 100 people.
