"Roots and Stems," a free lecture by Naturalist David Bosted, will be presented at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 23, at the Lawrence Nature Center at 481 Drexel Ave.
Naturalists David Bosted and son Nick will take a close look at the plant stems poking up from the roots in the Lawrence Nature Center meadow. Also they will talk about the origin of roots and stems, as discovered by geologists and paleobotanists in fossils in ancient rocks.
This program is free and is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
