Events in Lawrenceville: Costco Project Goes Before Planning Board, Resume Prep & More

Looking for things to do this week? Here's a highlight of what's going on in and around Lawrenceville.

Monday
Lawrence Library will conduct a Resume Makeover class. Bring a saved copy of your resume to class. Topics include formatting, writing a cover letter and helpful tips that will make your resume look professional. 2 p.m. 

The Lawrence Township Planning Board will review the Costco Project Application, 7 p.m. 

Tuesday
Open Craft for kids in grades K-4 at the Lawrence Library. This is a self-directed craft activity for children and requires a caregiver present to supervise, 6:30-8 p.m. 

Wednesday
VolunteerConnect will recognize Eleanor Horne, Janssen Pharmaceuticals and Princeton Area Community Foundation for their support of volunteerism in greater Mercer County, 6 p.m. 


Opening of the David Sarnoff Collection: Innovations that Changed the World at TCNJ. Named in  honor of David Sarnoff, chairman of the Radio Corporation of America, founder of the National Broadcasting Company and pioneer in radio and television. The collection includes 6,000 artifacts that document major developments in communication and electronics in the 20th century. 

Thursday
Miss Amy will host a musical concert for toddlers and preschoolers at the Lawrence Library, 10 a.m. 

Friday
Mercer Makes: Innovation and Technology in the Capital County Symposium at TCNJ.  A free daylong conference organized by Mercer County, 8:30 a.m.
