Hasan Pitches Perfect Game for Lawrence 9s

Editor's Note: The following game highlights were submitted to Lawrenceville Patch by Lawrence Little League.

Sometimes, you just have one of those nights when everything clicks. 

On Thursday night (July 19), it was Ameer Hasan's night.  Nobody touched Hasan as the Lawrence 9s defeated Ewing 12-0 in the West End tournament.

Hasan pitched a perfect game, sitting down 12 batters in order. He struck out seven batters while tallying his tremendous feat.

Hasan struck out the final batter to retire the side and end the game.

Twelve runs in the first three innings helped the Lawrence 9s blow out Ewing.

A solo home run by Hunter Rivera, a walk by Aidan Loughran, a walk by Miles Kron, and a steal of home by Loughran in the first inning and an error and an RBI single by Hasan during the second inning helped Lawrence 9s put some runs on the board early.

Matt Kildea had a double and Adam Levinsky hit a key triple driving in a run. 

Rivera racked up three RBIs on three hits for Lawrence 9s.
