Judge Rules Suspect Mentally Competent to Stand Trial for Alleged Abduction Attempt at Rider University
Authorities alleged that 68-year-old Lawrence Township resident Tony Kadyhrob tried to kidnap a 19-year-old student from the Rider University campus earlier this year.

A Superior Court judge on Thursday (Oct. 27) ruled that Tony Kadyhrob, the 68-year-old Lawrence Township man who allegedly grabbed a Rider University coed and tried to force the 19-year-old into his car, is mentally competent to stand trial, according to a report published by The Times of Trenton.
The alleged incident happened on Rider’s campus in Lawrence Township on March 28. In July, a grand jury indicted Kadyhrob – a resident of the 2000 block of Princeton Pike – on attempted kidnapping and luring charges.
