Last Chance: Buy Tickets for $640M Mega Millions Jackpot

Get to your local convenience store, supermarket or liquor store today by around 10:30 p.m. for what will most likely be your last chance to win the largest jackpot in North American lottery history.

The multi-state Mega Millions lottery has now reached an estimated $640 million after no winning tickets were sold for Tuesday night's drawing.

The largest Mega Millions jackpot to date was $390 million, with two winning tickets sold for the March 6, 2007, drawing — one in New Jersey (the Villas section of Lower Township), the other in Georgia.

Mega Millions is now played in 42 states and in Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
