Lawrence Boy Scout Troop 28 Court of Honor Held

Lawrence Township Boy Scout Troop 28 conducted its fall Court of Honor Oct. 14 at the .

Fourteen scouts earned a total of 54 merit badges that were presented by the scoutmasters at the formal ceremony and dessert.

• Kyle Jorgensen: Mammal Study, Swimming, Fingerprinting
• Mathew Molineros: Communication, Oceanography, First Aid, Forestry
• Evan Monfre: Swimming, Mammal Study, Scuba Diving

The Boy Scouts of America recognizes scout achievements by awarding badges of rank, and during the Court of Honor, Noah Hotz and Garret Monfre earned the rank of Life, and Mathew Molineros earned First Class.

Troop 28 is open to boys who have completed fifth-grade, and meets Friday nights from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Troop Hut at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church.
