Lawrence Hopewell Trail To Host Trail & Treat Ride For Halloween
Children can ride their bikes in costume and collect candy and treats on the trail.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – The Lawrence Hoewell Trail is kicking off Halloween celebrations early with the annual Trail & Treat event on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Children 12 and under and their families can wear their Halloween costumes, ride their bikes on the trail to collect candy and treats, have their faces painted, and enjoy live music by kids band School of Rock.
Trail and Treat will be held between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in Lawrence Township’s Village Park near the Yeger Drive entrance/parking lot.

There’s a mile-long, treat-filled bike ride or walk for children six to 12, while younger children can ride or walk along an approximately quarter-mile loop to collect their goodies.
Scooters, tricycles, roller-skating, and stroller participants are also welcome.

Parent supervision is required, and state law requires that children riding bikes wear helmets.
Entry to the event is $10 per child two and older. Children under two are free.
Parents are encouraged to pre-register their children online by visiting the LHT’s website, https://lhtrail.org/trailandtreat/. Onsite registration is also possible, space permitting.
