Lawrence Library Continues 50th Anniversary With Showing of Film Made Same Year Library Opened

The 1961 movie "The Innocents," starring Deborah Kerr, will be shown at the library on Nov. 14.

Deborah Kerr plays a young governess for two children who is convinced that their house and grounds are haunted in "The Innocents," a film that will be shown at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, at the .

"The Innocents" was made in 1961 - the same year the Lawrence Library opened its doors - and is being shown as part of the library's .

Librarian and film buff Rina Banerjee will introduce the movie, share trivia and discuss the movie.

The black-and-white movie runs about 100 minutes.
