Lawrence Boy Scouts of Troop 27 Hold Court of Honor

Lawrence Township Boy Scout Troop 27 gathered recently at Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the troop and individual scouts.

Lawrence Township Boy Scout Troop 27 members and their families gathered together to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the troop and individual scouts in a Court of Honor held on Oct. 27 at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville.

Scout Dante D. was the master of ceremonies for the evening. The evening program started with the presentation of the colors and included recognizing the individual and patrol achievements. Scouts were awarded the merit badges and rank advancements they earned in the last six months.

Fundraising efforts by the troop were acknowledged. Scout Master Grzankowski, Committee Chair Reali and other adult leaders addressed the gathering, and the new leadership of SPL and ASPL took charge for the upcoming term.

Entertainment was provided by troop members and included songs, patrol cheers, and a presentation of a slide show, developed by a scout, of the troop’s 2011 summer camp activities at Resica Falls.

The celebrations began with the newest members of the troop being invited to cut the cake. The evening spread was hosted by troop parents and was relished by all.
