Lawrence Township To Host Rabies Clinic On Jan. 21
The health department has set a different time for dogs and cats to arrive.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Here's your chance to get your pets vaccinated. The Lawrence Township Health Department will be hosting a rabies clinic for dogs and act on Jan. 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Central Park Public Works Garage, Eggert Crossing Rd.
Pet owners are required to pre-register each pet they wish to bring to the clinic. Registration closes Friday 3 p.m.
The health department has set a different time for dogs and cats to arrive. Once registration closes, residents will receive an email with a time slot to arrive for their pets' vaccination.

Attendees are encouraged to wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth and adhere to the social distancing requirements. Residents will have to remain in their vehicles and follow the instructions provided by the clinic staff. They will be guided through stations and advised when to exit their vehicle to hand off pets to clinic staff.
All dogs must be on secure leashes, no longer than six feet to prevent them from breaking loose. Retractable leashes are not acceptable and muzzles are recommended if the dog is not accustomed to being around other people or pets.

Cats must be in suitable carriers to prevent escape. No purses, or pillow cases allowed and cats cannot be on leashes only.
