​Lawrence's Presbyterian Church Holds Groundbreaking For New Project

The project will include new additions and upgrades of existing infrastructure.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville (PCOL), held a groundbreaking ceremony on Dec. 17, 2023, for its long-awaited construction project.

Located on Lawrenceville's Main Street, the project will include the addition of the Fearon Atrium, upgrades of existing infrastructure, expansion of the South Lobby, and accessibility improvements.

The construction project will allow for the expansion of The Community Well, a non-sectarian community wellness center that operates on the footprint of PCOL.

The ceremony began with a liturgy in the Meetinghouse. Proceeding outdoors to the construction site, the congregation heard a message from Temple Micah Board President, Andrew Shragger, followed by the groundbreaking ceremony.

Participating in the ceremony were PCOL’s pastors, project architect Rob Cerutti, the Capital Campaign Team, the Capital Projects Team, Temple Micah leaders and a team from the project’s new contractor V.J. Scozzari.

After the ceremony, a reception was held where attendees were able to view the project renderings.
