Lawrenceville School Donates $80K to Lawrence Township Education Foundation
The private school has contributed nearly $2 million since 1996.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Lawrenceville School donated $80,000 to the Lawrence Township Education Foundation (LTEF), marking the organization's largest single contribution from a donor this year.
Head of School Steve Murray presented the check to LTEF Executive Director Bonne Giglio, Board President Charles Snellings and Board Vice President Andrew Tunnard.
The partnership between the private school and the foundation dates to 1996, with Lawrenceville contributing nearly $2 million over that time.

"Our partnership with the Lawrence Township Education Foundation reflects Lawrenceville's commitment to the greater community we call home," Murray said. "Supporting LTEF's work helps ensure that all students in Lawrence Township have access to inspiring educational opportunities."
The foundation granted more than $85,000 to Lawrence Township public schools in the 2024-25 academic year, funding 49 programs across all seven district schools. Programs span literacy, equity, music, art, humanities, STEM and character education.

Recent investments include renovations to the Lawrence Intermediate School sound system, new keyboards for two elementary schools, lyres for the high school marching band, new clubs at the middle and high schools, and VR simulators for the intermediate school's career exploration program.
"We are extremely grateful for our partnership with The Lawrenceville School," Giglio said. "Their annual contributions allow us to achieve our mission to enhance the educational experience for all Lawrence Township public school students."
Over 32 years, the foundation has invested nearly $4.6 million in the schools, funding more than 1,100 grants ranging from a few hundred dollars to $100,000.
