The MOMs Club of Lawrenceville West will hold an open house at Village Park playground. The group is part ofInternational MOMS Club, a national, non-profit organization which serves as a means for mothers to share their experiences and receive information about parenting, child development and find companionship for our members and their children, 10 a.m.
Brown Bag Series Lecture at TCNJ: A Life in the Wings presented by Christy Ney, assistant stage manager for the Broadway hit Wicked. Ney works at the Gershwin Theatre in New York City. Bring your lunch and relax during the first Brown Bag Series lecture of the semester. Free, 11:30 a.m.
Saturday
A multi-family garage sale, featuring furniture, household items, childrens items, artwork and decorations. 4 Rosalind Drive, 8 a.m.Celebrate fall at the 36th Annual Apple Day at Terhune Orchards. Dance to the Daisy Jug Band, eat yummy foot and enjoy activities including wagon and pony rides, face painting, pumpkin painting, make your own scarecrow, Corn Stalk Maze and the Adventure Barn. $5 admission for ages 3 and up, 10 a.m.
Lawrence Township Meals on Wheels Fundraiser at Captain Paul's Firehouse Dogs. The restaurant will donate 20% of sales to the organization, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
First Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing presents a gospel concert, "Gospel Recorded Group Exodus 4:12." Songs include “Know What It’s Like to Have God on Your Side,” “Just Call My Name” and more. 7 p.m. $10
A fall picnic and fairy/gnome house festival at Lawrence Nature Center. Bring your picnic basket and enjoy a meal with your family and friends. Then use your imaginations, creativity, and love of nature to construct a fairy or gnome house using only non-living, natural materials. We'll provide some materials, but if you have some natural materials to share from your yard, garden, or collections, bring them along. Free, but please register. 4 p.m.
Greater Princeton Steinway Society presents a piano solo by Sylvie Webb, pianist, teacher, and Gold Medal winner from the Conservatoire National of St. Germain en Laye, France. The program will include Bach, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Franck. Admission: $18/$10. 3 p.m.
