LES Students Take a Stand Against Name-Calling

Students at Lawrenceville Elementary School took part in national No Name-Calling Week.

Students at Lawrence Township’s Lawrenceville Elementary School recently took part in national No Name-Calling Week by wearing T-shirts featuring Mickey Mouse, Tinker Bell, Curious George and other cartoon heroes to encourage one another to use “good character.”

Several school-wide activities were used to promote “kind words and deed and absolutely no name calling” during the school week of Jan. 24-28.

The school’s in-house television network was used to share with students faculty-read stories offering positive role models and anti-bullying messages.
