Letter to the Editor: Dog Rescuers Thanked

To The Good Samaritan on Cold Soil Road:

We want to thank you for getting out of your car to save our beloved dog, Cooper, who was about to be hit by a car on Cold Soil Road today [Thursday, March 29].

You not only pulled him out of the way, you took the time to ring a doorbell to see if they were his owners.  While they weren't, they were kind enough to take Cooper into their backyard and called us after seeing our information on his collar tags.  

To Sherry and Tony Singleton, thanks for keeping Cooper safely in your yard and calling us.

We are new to this area and are overjoyed to discover what a wonderful neighborhood this is.  Thank you Good Samaritan, thank you Sherry and Tony Singleton!
