Library Program Highlights 'Hidden Treasures' of Korea
Two documentary films about Korea will be shown during the program at the Lawrence Township headquarters branch of the Mercer County Library on Oct. 29.
The  tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 29, will host a program entitled "The Hidden Treasures of Korean Art and Modern Korea."
Two documentary films about Korea will be shown.
The first film illustrates the artistic and cultural achievements of Korea’s past such as Hangul (Korean alphabet) and The Tripitaka Koreana (a national treasure of Korea and registered as part of UNESCO’s “Memory of the World”).

The second film focuses on Korea’s industrial achievements since the Korean War.
A reenactment of Korean Traditional Wedding Ceremony will take place with a complimentary traditional Korean meal will follow.
