New Jersey Administrative Code requires districts to undergo a QSAC review every three years. The in-depth analysis of district practices and capacity considers five areas of school district effectiveness to determine the extent to which a thorough and efficient education is being provided. The five areas are: instruction and program, fiscal management, operations, personnel, and governance.
“We're gratified that the NJ DOE and Commissioner Cerf have designated Lawrence Township Public Schools as a ‘high-performing district’ based on state accountability metrics. This recognition of our processes and performance honors our terrific community of staff, administrators, students, and families,” expressed Laura Waters, Lawrence Township Board of Education president.
