Man Allegedly Hits Coworker in the Head With a Plastic Broom
The incident happened on Sept. 24.

A 44-year-old Browns Mills man faces multiple charges after he was involved in a verbal confrontation with a coworker at D-Way Corporation in Lawrence and then hit allegedly the man in the head with a plastic broom.
Ricky Dones was charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapon with unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
The incident happened on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

According to Lawrence Township Police, Dones was behind a forklift operator at the company on Litho Road when he demanded the forklift driver get out of the way. An argument ensued and then Dones allegedly grabbed a hard plastic broom and struck the other man in the head and face, knocking him off the forklift.
The man complained of dizziness, being lightheaded, swelling and a small cut to the temple.

Dones was held on $25,000 full cash bail.
