Man Fatally Shoots Girlfriend, Her 10-Year-Old Daughter, Himself In Mercer County, Police Say

The incident took place just before 4 a.m. on Thursday in Hamilton, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A 10-year-old girl, along with a man and woman, were found shot to death in Hamilton, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey said.

According to inital investigation, the man shot his girlfriend and her 10-year-old daughter before shooting himself, authorities said.

Just before 4 a.m. on Thursday morning, Hamilton police responded to a 911 call from a residence in the 200 block of Henry Street.

On arrival, officers found the man, woman and a 10-year-old suffering gunshot wounds. All three were pronounced dead at the scene, Marbrey said.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shootings.
