Man Shot Multiple Times On Sidewalk In Mercer Co. Friday: Prosecutor

He was pronounced dead at the hospital. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A man was shot multiple times on a sidewalk in Trenton on Friday morning, authorities said.

On Friday, around 6:30 a.m., Trenton police responded to the first block of Oliver Avenue for a ShotSpotter activation.

Officers arrived on the scene to find a man on the sidewalk shot multiple times, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.

The man was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting.
