This Mercer Animal Shelter Has Waived Adoption Fees For Dogs

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – July 21 to 27 is National Pet Adoption week. And to ensure abandoned animals have a new home, this Mercer County shelter is offering animal lovers an incentive.

The Hamilton Township Animal Shelter has waived all adoption fees for dogs until Aug. 31.

On June 14, 2024, the shelter closed the intake of dogs as it reached capacity with intake of surrenders and public drop offs of stray animals.

To encourage animal lovers to adopt dogs, the municipality is now waiving off the fees.
