Mercer Native Ji'Ayir Brown Picked By San Francisco 49ers In NFL Draft

Ji'Ayir Brown, who graduated from Trenton Central High School in 2018, was picked during round 3 of the NFL draft.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer Native Ji’Ayir Brown was selected by the San Francisco 49ers during round 3 (87th overall) of the NFL draft.

Brown, who is from Trenton, went to Trenton High School, played for Penn State.

Brown finished with 10 career interceptions at Penn State, tied for 12th in program history, according to the 49ers.

He also posted 234 career interception return yards, the second-most at the school since 2000. He was also named Penn State's team MVP in 2022 and went on to win the Iron Lion Award.

Brown graduated from Trenton Central High School in 2018.
