Mercer Robbery Suspect Nabbed After Cops Tracked Him With A Drone
The man stole two e-bikes from the detached garage of a home, Hamilton Police said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A robbery suspect in Hamilton was nabbed by the cops after they tracked him with the help of a drone, Hamilton Police said.
On Monday, around 10 p.m. police received a call for a burglary in progress in the 300 block of Whitehead Road.
The caller told police that a man wearing a ski mask kicked the door of a detached garage on the side of a home. When confronted, the man pushed past the resident, taking two electric bicycles.

Hamilton Police Division, along with the Division's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Unit, conducted an extensive search of the area.
Officer Todd Oakley piloted the drone and directed officers to the man's position. .

Richard G. Halley, a 54-year-old homeless man was arrested without incident. He was taken to police headquarters and charged with robbery, theft, burglary, and criminal mischief.
