Motorcycle Ride From Lawrence to Honor Vietnam Vets
The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Ride, going from Lawrence Township to Holmdel on Oct. 16, will benefit the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum and Education Center.

The First Annual New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Ride, a motorcycle ride going from Lawrence Township to Holmdel, will take place on Sunday, Oct. 16.
The event, being held by the American Legion Riders, will benefit the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum and Education Center.
The memorial and educational center, located on the grounds of the PNC Bank Arts Center off Exit 116 of the Garden State Parkway, honor all those who served during the Vietnam War, including more than 1,500 New Jerseyans who were killed or went missing in action during the war.

Registration for the bike ride will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday at the National Guard Armory on Eggerts Crossing Road in Lawrence Township. The $25 entry fee includes entertainment and a barbeque lunch. The ride will depart, with a police escort, at 11:30 a.m. and conclude at the memorial in Holmdel.
