Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Telephone Pole In Lawrence Township
Benjamin Boyers, 44, of Levittown, PA, was pronounced dead at a local hospital, police said.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – A 44-year-old motorcyclist died on Friday morning after he crashed into a pole in Lawrence Township, police said.
Around 6:48 a.m., officers from Lawrence Township Police Department responded to the intersection of Franklin Corner Road and Princeton Pike for a report of a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
On arrival, they found Benjamin Boyers, 44, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, unconscious at the scene. Life-saving measures were initiated, and Boyers was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, police said.

According to preliminary investigation, Boyers was riding a 2023 Royal Enfield motorcycle eastbound on Franklin Corner Road when he lost control and struck a telephone pole.
As a result of the crash, Franklin Corner Road eastbound between Princeton Pike and Brunswick Pike was temporarily closed while the scene was under investigation.

The incident remains under investigation by the Lawrence Township Police Department in coordination with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Response Team.
