New Marijuana Dispensary Set To Open In Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – A new adult-use cannabis dispensary is all set to open in Ewing in August.
Canna Remedies will open doors of its highly anticipated dispensary on Thursday, Aug. 15. The store will be located at 2175 Spruce Street in Ewing.
The dispensary is spread over 7,244 square feet and has a nature-inspired oasis theme focusing on the functional use of the plant to foster positive experiences and enhance overall well-being.

Canna Remedies is a friend and family-owned business their operations team consists of advocates and experienced operators who, among them, successfully developed Pennsylvania's first medical marijuana dispensary.
Canna Remedies Head of Operations is Dr. Monica Werkheiser, Pharm D., a graduate of Rutgers University, and a leading cannabis advocate and educator who spearheaded the initiative for anxiety becoming a qualifying condition for the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana program.

Each sales staff member undergoes rigorous training led by Werkheiser, a Cannabis Training Academy instructor, and industry veteran Victor Guadagnino, an expert in supply chain relations with deep connections with cultivators and manufacturers.
Canna Remedies has also developed several educational programs that demystify the plant and make the consumer experience approachable.
This spring, they hosted Cannabis for the Aging Population, a virtual workshop for senior citizens who have emerged as the fastest-growing group of cannabis users.
It was also presented at the Ewing Senior and Community Center this June.
