A final vote tally to determine the winner of the second Lawrence Council seat is not expected today.
That's because Mercer County Board of Elections officials are not expected to open and count the provisional ballots from Tuesday's election until Saturday, according to the Lawrence Township Clerk's office.
Currently, only 30 votes separating Lawrence Council incumbent Democrat James S. Kownacki and Republican hopeful Max Ramos.
The winner will be determined by the results of provisional and mail-in ballots.
