Obituary: Gladys J. Miller, 78

A resident of Lawrence Township since 1957, she will be laid to rest on Tuesday.

Gladys J. Miller, 78, of Lawrence Township died Thursday, Aug. 2, at the St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall.

Born in Newton, she has resided in Lawrence since 1957.

She was a graduate of Newton High School and Rider College.

Gladys was formerly employed as a secretary and tutorial coordinator at Rider College.

She was a member of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, and in her younger years was a den mother with a Lawrence Township Cub Scout Pack 28. Gladys was a former member of the Lawrence Elks B.P.O.E. 2412 Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion Post 414 Ladies Auxiliary, and the Lawrence Township Republican Club.

Daughter of the late William and Harriet Hamler Stoll, brother of the late John W. Stoll M.D., and beloved wife of the late Robert B. Miller, she is survived by two sons William C. Miller and wife Marcia, Richard J. Miller and his wife Sharon, and a daughter Leslie S. Marrazzo and her husband Anthony.

Also surviving are her loving grandchildren Jacob W., Charlotte G. and Abigail R. Miller, Matthew, Joseph, Anthony and Ashley Marrazzo, John Gladwell Jr., and Kelsy Estep, sisters and brother-in-law Marilyn Jean Miller, and Richard W. Miller and his wife Jeanette.

The funeral for Gladys will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m. at , 650 Lawrence Rd., Lawrence.

Burial will be in the Ewing Church Cemetery in Ewing Township. Family and friends may call on Monday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gladys’ memory may be made to Staff Appreciation Fund at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville, N.J. 08648.
