Obituary: Mary Keris, 90

Mary Keris, 90, of Lawrence Township passed away Saturday, Aug. 11, at her home. 

Born in Reynoldsville, W.V., on Feb. 2, 1922, she moved to Allentown, where the family still farms, and later to Lawrence. 

Mary graduated with honors from Allentown High School.  She was a special person who always carried the goodness of the Lord in her heart.  Those who knew her will always remember her kindness.

Daughter of the late Walter and Justina Dulapa Pienkowski, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Keris.  Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna Keris; her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph S. and Maggie Keris; and two grandchildren, Marisa and Jenny.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Ave., Trenton. Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Allentown. 

Friends may call Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 7-9 p.m. at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.
