Rep. Andy Kim Visits Lawrence District’s High School Students

The Congressman spoke to high school students and encouraged active civic engagement.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rep. Andy Kim visited the Lawrence Township School District on Monday and engaged in a discussion with high school students.

Kim, who represents NJ-3 which includes Lawrence Township, spoke to students from Lawrence High School’s politics class.

In his address, Kim highlighted the significance of active participation in democracy, underscoring that apathy stands in opposition to the principles on which the nation is based.

Challenging the students in Mrs. Allison Johnson’s AP Government and Politics class, Kim posed the question, "What will you do to make a difference?"

The Congressman also emphasized that making a difference goes hand in hand with being of service to others.

He encouraged the students to explore various avenues where their contributions could positively impact society, emphasizing that service extends beyond the political arena.
