Report: Overall Alcohol Violations on Rider's Lawrence Township Campus Decrease But Actual Arrests Go Up
The Rider News looks at the crime statistics included in the annual safety report issued by Rider University for its Lawrence Township campus.

The number of alcohol violations that took place on Rider University's Lawrence Township campus during 2010 was the fewest since 2007 and represented a decrease of 36 percent in comparison to the number of such violations that took place on the campus during 2010, according to a report published Thursday by The Rider News.
According to the report, the number of actual arrests for liquor law violations on Rider's Lawrence campus increased 16 percent, going from 49 in 2009 to 57 in 2010.
The numbers of sexual offenses and burglaries at Rider's campus in Lawrence Township increased during 2010 in comparison to 2009, the Rider News reported.
