Robbinsville Firefighters Block Fire Spread Into Home: Fire Officials

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - Firefighters in Robbinsville managed to stop a car fire from spreading inside a home Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

The blaze, reported on Hillside Drive, stemmed from a vehicle fire that spread to the residence, the Robbinsville Township Fire Department wrote in a statement.

“Squad 40 firefighters arrived and quickly extinguished the vehicle, limiting the damage to the home and preventing the fire from spreading to the interior,” Robbinsville fire officials said.

Photos posted by the fire department depict a charred front of the vehicle and a decimated garage at the residence.

No injuries were reported in connection with the blaze.
