Children and their parents built scarecrows and painted pumpkins during Lawrenceville Main Street's annual fall festival on Oct. 16.

held its annual fall festival and scarecrow-building contest on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in near the corner of Route 206 and Craven Lane.

Children and their parents had a fun time building scarecrows and painting pumpkins during the event, which has been taking place every Halloween season since 1999.
