Sikh Community to Hold Interfaith Vigil Tonight
The vigil is part of a nationwide remembrance for the victims of the Wisconsin shooting.
The Sikh community will hold an interfaith vigil tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 8, as part of a nationwide remembrance for the victims of the Oak Creek, Wisconsin Sikh Gurdwara shooting.
A special prayer service is being held at Sikh Sabha of New Jersey Gurdwara at 282 Bakers Basin Rd. in Lawrence Township. The service will be followed by a candlelight vigil.

The program:
7-8 p.m. – Religious service

8-8:30 p.m. – Tributes by Lawrence Township Mayor Jim Kownacki, NJ Assemblyman Daniel R. Benson and community member Jaspreet Singh
8:30-9:15 p.m. – Candlelight vigil
