Special Olympics Track & Field, Bocce Event In Lawrence On Sunday
Athletes from Mercer and other counties will be competing in the games.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Special Olympics NJ will be hosting a track and field event in Lawrence on Sunday.
Athletes from across Mercer County will be competing and showing off their skills.
The sporting event will take place at Lawrence High School from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

On the same day, athletes will compete in bocce in hopes of advancing to the Summer Games. The event will take place at SONJ Sports Complex in Lawrenceville from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Areas competing will be Hunterdon, Middlesex, Union, Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset and Mercer counties.

Organizers are also looking for volunteers for this event. Interested participants must be 14 years or older to sign up. Volunteer positions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for details.
