Sunset Art Tours, Silent Auction Highlight Mercer’s Grounds For Sculpture Event

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Art enthusiasts and wine lovers have something special to look forward to. Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton will host its signature annual fundraiser, "Swirl: An Evening of Art and Wine," on Friday, Sept. 19.

This year's event promises to be more than just a fundraiser—it's an immersive cultural experience that combines the best of outdoor art with sophisticated culinary and wine experiences.

The event will be a thoughtful integration of multiple sensory experiences. As the golden hour approaches, guests will embark on a carefully curated journey through the sculpture park's gardens, led by docents who bring the artworks to life with expert commentary.

The evening's centerpiece features five strategic stops, each highlighting a significant sculpture while offering guests a specially designed food and wine pairing.

These pairings, crafted by the culinary team at the acclaimed Rat's Restaurant, are designed to complement both the artistic themes and the natural setting of each location.

Wine experts will be stationed at each stop, providing context and guidance for the tastings.

The proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Grounds For Sculpture's mission.

Following the formal tour, attendees can revisit their favorite wines from the evening, available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

The event also features a silent auction with exclusive items contributed by notable local businesses and organizations, including DOYLE Auctioneers & Appraisers, Princeton Marriott at Forrestal, Woolverton Inn, and Graduate by Hilton Princeton.

Tickets are priced at $160 for members and $175 for non-members.
