Pick your own apples at our Cold Soil Road location. We anticipate that our Pink Lady and Granny Smith apples will be ready for picking, depending on the weather. (Visitors can call the farm store ahead of time at 609-924-2310 or check out our Facebook page, Twitter feed or website to confirm).
Guest can satisfy cravings for dishes made with apples or get inspired to make your own apple treats; we offer a variety of apple goodies in our farm store like apple pies, apple crisps, apple bread, mama’s apple cake and applesauce, and you can quench your thirst with cold cups of our own Terhune apple cider. Recipes for apple dishes are available in our store. You can also order pies for Thanksgiving. Ask about our pie fundraiser program!

Due to Indian summer, we are still picking a lot of vegetables including tomatoes, lettuce, radishes, and potatoes, which are all available in our farm store.
We will cap off a great festival series of musical performances with Mark Miklos and the Raritan Valley Ramblers on Saturday, and Swingin’ Dixie on Sunday. The bands will perform from noon to 4 p.m.
There are plenty of activities available for kids who visit the farm, including our popular Adventure Barn. The theme this year is “Legends and Lore of New Jersey". Kids can have fun while learning about unique New Jersey characters in history, and how some popular Garden State tales started, like the Jersey Devil and the Martians landing at Grovers Mill. Â
Fall Harvest weekends celebrate all the great fruits and vegetables grown here at Terhune Orchards. Pam’s food tent is full of homemade soup and chili, barbequed chicken, pork sandwiches and hot dogs, salads, and cookies. Find a spot at the picnic tables by the pond and enjoy! Fun for adults, visit our winery tasting room to sample our new vintages, including our popular apple wine and our new fruit blend, apple-blueberry (Harvest Blue).
The festival will run both days from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Plenty of parking is available at the farm, which is located at 330 Cold Soil Rd. Admission $5, children under 3 are free. There is no admission fee for our farm market and our winery tasting room.
