Township, County Offices Closed for Columbus Day
Some county facilities such as Trenton-Mercer Airport, the county sheriff's office and the emergency communications center will remain open.
Lawrence Township municipal offices and the ecological center on Princeton Pike will be closed on Monday, Oct. 8, in observance of Columbus Day.
Lawrence Township public schools are also closed on Monday for students.
Trash collection will, however, take place on Monday in Lawrence.

Most Mercer County offices and facilities will also be closed on Monday, including:
- McDade Administration Building (640 South Broad St.)
- Criminal Courthouse (209 South Broad St.)
- Civil Courthouse (275 South Broad St.)
- Mercer County Connection
- County Clerk’s Office and the County Surrogate’s Office
- All branches of Mercer County Library System
