Two Charged With Burglary, Crimiinal Mischief After Allegedly Painting Graffiti on Abandoned Building

The incident happened on July 14.

Two Morrisville residents face multiple charges after police allege they were spray-painting graffiti on a building along Enterprise Avenue.

Robert Ehlers, 35, and Andrea Chiacchiio, 31, were both charged with burglary and criminal mischief. Ehlers was also charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. 

The incident happened on July 14 around 6:45 p.m.

According to Lawrence Police, officers saw two people on the roof an abandoned building on Enterprise Avenue. They set up a perimeter, made contact with Ehlers and Chiacchiio and discovered the two were painting graffiti on the building so it could be seen from the highway. 

Ehlers was held on $12,500 bail with 10 percent down. Chiacchiio was released on her own recognizance.
