Two Lawrence Township men were arrested early Tuesday after they allegedly tried to break into a home in the 700 block of Putnam Avenue.

The victim told police he woke up when she heard a noise at the back door and discovered her back screen door severely damaged. She contacted police, who set up a perimeter.

That's when Rodriguez approached the officers to ask what was going on. Rodriguez was barefoot, but Bradshaw also appeared and the sneakers he was wearing matched footprints made in the pollen near the victim's back door, according to police.

This is Rodriguez's fourth arrest in less than a month, according to police.

Earlier this month, Rodriguez was charged with burglary and theft after he and another man allegedly broke into a home in the 100 block of Hoover Avenue and stole beer, wine and a backpack valued at $55. Police say he was out on $30,000 bail when he allegedly burglarized the Hoover Avenue home.

In April, Rodriguez and another man were arrested after police said they allegedly worked together to rob homes on Ditmars Avenue and Roxboro Road.
