Weapons, Drugs Seized During Drug Bust In Mercer County
Authorities also recovered $11,655.00 in U.S. currency during the search warrant.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Hamilton man was charged with several offenses after police recovered weapons and drugs from his house during a search, authorities said Thursday.
On Oct. 23, the Hamilton Police Anti-Crime Unit and the Hamilton Police SWAT Unit conducted a search warrant on a home on the 1300 block of William Street after a month-long investigation into narcotics trafficking.
During the search Officers found two shotguns, a handgun, ammunition, suspected heroin/fentanyl, along with paraphernalia and $11,655.00 in US currency, police said.

Lamar Giddens, 32, of Hamilton was taken into custody and charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, three counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, three counts of possessing a weapon during CDS offense, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with intent to distribute in school zone, possession of heroin, two counts prohibited weapons and devices, and possession of paraphernalia.
He was taken to the Mercer County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing.
