Woman Dies After Vehicle Strikes Concrete Barriers In Mercer Co.

The incident took place Sunday morning and is being investigated by state troopers.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Florence woman died early Sunday morning after her vehicle struck concrete barriers on a ramp connecting Interstate 295 to State Highway 29 in Hamilton Township, New Jersey State Police said.

Angellisa Jeter, 30, was driving a Nissan northbound on the I-295 ramp around 6:03 a.m. when her vehicle veered onto the right shoulder and hit a concrete barrier. The Nissan then crossed multiple lanes and struck another barrier on the left side, NJSp said.

Jeter died from injuries sustained in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
