Arlene Eddy Of Tinton Falls Dies Suddenly At 64

Arlene Gendzwil Eddy, 64, of Tinton Falls, NJ, passed away suddenly at her home on April 10, 2015.

Arlene was the devoted and loving wife of 26 years to her husband Clifford D. Eddy and adoring mother to Matthew Ryan Eddy. She also leaves behind her sisters, Patricia Mankow-DeMidio (Charles) of Galloway Township, NJ, Carol Niszczak Cason (Kenneth) of Live Oak, FL, and many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends. She was predeceased by her mother Helen, father William, and sister Doris.

Arlene was a native of Bayonne, NJ, graduated from Bayonne High School and attended the Jersey City Career Institute. Arlene became an LPN and went on to become an integral part of many different medical and dental practices in Morris and Monmouth Counties. Her latest employment was at The Natural Pharmacy & Wellness Center, where she cared for patients, friends, and family.

Arlene was an avid fan of her son’s surfing and fishing hobbies and also loved spending time at the beach with her family and friends. She was kind, gracious and always had compassionate, uplifting and spiritual words for those in need. Arlene had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. She loved all animals, especially her dogs and spent numerous hours helping lost and abandoned pets find homes. Her infectious laugh, caring nature and love of God and life will be missed by all who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, April 20 the at Bongarzone Funeral Home, 2400 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls, NJ. A funeral service for Arlene will begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Germania Cemetery, Egg Harbor City, NJ.
