Bridge On Seven Bridges Road​ Closed Starting Monday

Starting this Monday, Dec. 4, the bridge on Seven Bridges Road​ in Little Silver will be closed, and there will be a detour up.

LITTLE SILVER, NJ — Starting this Monday, Dec. 4, the bridge on Seven Bridges Road in Little Silver will be closed, and there will be a detour up.

The detour will be in place for approximately one week.

The Monmouth County Division of Engineering is scheduled to perform bridge repairs on the bridge that runs over Town Neck Creek on Seven Bridges Road (Rt. 33) starting Monday, Dec. 4.

The signed detour will use Rumson Road, Branch Avenue and Silverside Avenue. Follow detour signs.

"The bridge repairs will begin on Monday, Dec. 4 and will take approximately one week to complete," said Monmouth County Commissioner Director Tom Arnone. "A section of Seven Bridges Road will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Please plan to use an alternate route during construction. Detour signs will be posted throughout the area to assist drivers.”

Marbro, Inc. of West End, New Jersey is the contractor for the project.
