Christopher A. Stackhouse Of Oceanport Dies At 31

Service slated for Monday in Long Branch.

Christopher A. Stackhouse, 31, of Oceanport, passed away suddenly at home on January 7, 2016.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong resident of Oceanport. Christopher was a 2002 graduate of Shore Regional High School and first in his class at Gemological Institute of America in New York. He was the owner and proprietor of Surfside Landscaping in Oceanport and had a passion for life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others and was a Friend of Bill. Christopher was an extremely proud uncle-to be.

He is survived by his parents, Greg and Caroline (Wilson) Stackhouse; his sister and brother-in-law, Erica and Damon Martino; the love of his life, his fiancé Julie Stenger; his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Andrew Wilson; paternal grandmother, Janet Smilios, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, January 11 at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Friends of Bill at Fort Monmouth at Shrewsbury, P.O. Box 73, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
