Doris S. Addeo Of Oceanport Dies At 81
Services for U.S. Air Force Korean War veteran to be held on Wednesday.

Doris S. Addeo, 81, of Oceanport, died peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at home. Born in High Point, NC, she had lived in Long Branch before moving to Oceanport 50 years ago.
Doris was a procurement specialist for Fort Monmouth in Eatontown for 25 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch and had served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Salvatore W. Addeo; a son Anthony W. Addeo; a daughter, Tamera A. Addeo and Molly Addeo, Tamera’s daughter; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Lee Cargal; Guildford and Sue Cargal; Raymond Cargal and his companion Jean Whitaker and a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Don Nackley.
A committal service will be held on Wednesday, Feb.11, at 11 a.m. at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.
