Monmouth Park's Haskell Invitational is certainly the biggest upcoming event in the Little Silver-Oceanport area this week.
The annual race is the biggest at the park each year and a slew of events are scheduled for this weekend. Some of the events include a mini golf tournament against Monmouth Park jockeys, a Family Fun Day and the race itself.

It's a relatively quiet week on the municipal calendars of Little Silver and Oceanport. There are no meetings scheduled in Oceanport this week and an Environmental Commission meeting and Shade Tree Commission meeting in Little Silver on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
